BOTOX®
BOTOX® Cosmetic is commonly used to temporarily reduce or eliminate the appearance of facial wrinkles. BOTOX is made from a purified protein that is injected under the skin to relax the muscles responsible for the wrinkle formation. BOTOX is typically injected into areas surrounding the eyes, forehead and mouth to smooth crow's feet, frown and worry lines. Patients who are very expressive with their faces and have wrinkles due to active facial muscle movement tend to find the most benefit from BOTOX.
BOTOX is a simple, nonsurgical treatment that can smooth wrinkles and rejuvenate the face. The results are not noticeable until several days after the injection, but the effect may last up to 3–6 months (although individual results may vary).
